Seasoned Man Guide How we review

Editorial policy

Independence

No seller, brand or affiliate partner pays to be covered, reviews our articles before publication or approves what we write. Our articles do not link to product pages.

Sources

We build articles on primary sources: U.S. government health agencies such as the FDA, NIH and CDC, the Federal Trade Commission for consumer topics, medical associations, and peer-reviewed research. Each article lists the sources it relies on. We don't cite other review sites as evidence.

Health information

We describe; we don't diagnose or prescribe. We never claim that a product or habit cures, treats or prevents a disease. When a topic calls for a doctor, we say so clearly and early.

Buying guides

Our buying guides explain what to check before you buy: the label, the guarantee, the seller and the reviews. They teach a method rather than rank products.

Updates and corrections

We review articles when guidance changes and show the date of the last update. If you find an error, tell us through our contact page. We correct factual errors promptly.

Advertising and affiliate pages

Pages that introduce a specific product are kept separate from our article library, are excluded from search engines and carry a clear affiliate statement. See our affiliate disclosure.
